1. Safety in the engine room, Fire fighting and prevention 2. Cleanliness and maintenance in the engine room 3. Knowledge of general systems on board: diesel, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, electronics and outboards 4. Increasing knowledge of all systems on board 5. Team player, able to assist with some deck duties: line handling, water sports 6. Flexible and adaptable 7. Watch and duties during passage 8. Continued education and licensing |
